Indenture made 17 May 1788 640 ac in Davidson Co. (2002 in Williamson Co., south of Franklin) on Goose Creek, a south fork of Big Harpeth.

Indenture made 17 May 1788 160 ac in Davidson Co. (2002 in Williamson Co., south of Franklin) joining the south boundary of John Topp’s other claim conveyed unto him by said Nelson, on Grove Creek, a south fork of Big Harpeth. (this is probably Goose Ck. rather than Grove Ck.)

In consideration of the services of Roger Topp, one of the guards to the Commissioners, 960 ac. So. Side Cumberland River on Brown’s Creek. Joining Thomas Hardiman’s corner  and Samuel Barton’s corner with a conditional line between Barton and Mitchell’s line, surveyed June 15, 1787, warrant # 329.

  1. I'm a descendant of Stewart (or Stuart) Fambrough (or Fambro) and Susanna (or Susannah) Topp. I've never established whether Susannah was a daughter of John or Roger Topp. Any help appreciated. Bob Ausbourne - ausbourne1@gmail.com

  2. I am a descent of Roger and John Topp. The Topp who married Stewart Fambrough was John Topp's sister and the daughter of Roger Topp
